Terms & Conditions

1) Deposits

Bookings can only be accepted in writing on our official booking form. A deposit of 25% of the total rental is required, calculated to the nearest pound, this should be sent with the booking form. In the case of bookings made within 8 weeks of the commencement of the holiday the full amount should be sent with the booking form.

2) Final Payment

The balance of the rental must be received by us no later than 8 weeks before your holiday commences. The balance must also include a security deposit of £200.00 that will be returned to you within 2 weeks after your holiday less the cost of damages, this however will be very unlikely. Failure to pay the balance by the due date will result in automatic cancellation of the holiday and forfeiture of the deposit. On receipt of the balance full details of key collection arrangements and directions will be sent. No bookings are valid until confirmed by the owner (Jewells Holiday Villas).

3) Cancellation Refunds

Up to 8 weeks no cancellation charge

4 to 8 weeks 50% of rate refunded

2 to 4 weeks 25% of rate refunded

Less than 2 weeks no refund

4) Size and Party

The number of persons stipulated for each property in the brochure must not be exceeded under any circumstances. The tenants right to occupy the property may be forfeited without compensation from the security deposit if A) more people than specified on the booking form and/or the number the property holds, attempt to take up occupation. B) Overnight guests are entertained without the owners express permission. C) Any activity is undertaken which may cause unreasonable damage, noise or disturbance. The person who completes the booking form certifies that he or she is authorised to agree to the booking conditions on behalf of all persons on the booking form including any changes. The signatory must be 18 years of age and must be a member of the party occupying the property and has agreed to take responsibility for the occupying party.

5) Eligibility

Bookings can not be accepted by all male or female parties with no exceptions

6) Tenants Obligations

Tenants agree to take reasonable care of the property and ensure that the property and all equipment are left clean. If the property is not left clean, tenants will pay an extra charge of £50.00 out of their security deposit. Tenants agree to pay for any losses of damages to the property and allow the owners or representative (housekeeper) assess to the property at any reasonable time during any holiday occupancy. Tenants will not share the property or part of the possession of the property.

7) Unavailability of Properties

Should the property for reasons beyond our control (e.g. fire, theft, accident etc) not available on the date booked or the property is not available for holiday letting or rent and any charges paid in full by the applicant will be refunded in full, the applicants will have no further claim against the owner.

8) Change of Booking

The owner cannot accept a change of holiday apartment or details to a booking once deposit has been received. However, occasionally we can accept a change of holiday weeks if we are able to alter the dates. Where any changes are made an administrative charge of £25.00 will be made.

9) Complaints

All complaints must be notified to the owners immediately so that they can investigate the circumstances and take any necessary action. In no circumstances can compensation be made to any complaints that are made after the tenancy has ended or where the tenant has denied the owners the opportunity to try to put matters right during the tenants stay.

10) Damages

Occasionally accidents do happen and the tenant must pay for any losses. Properties are checked and cleaned before arrival but if you do have any difficulties please contact your housekeeper whose details will be given to you or the owner. Should you find any damage or non-working items it is important to notify the housekeeper immediately so that matters can be rectified.

11) Discounts

It is not our normal practice to offer discounts, as most properties are normally fully booked. However in only the event of a cancellation a discount may be given for last minute booking and for couples.

12) Loss of Property and Personal Injury

We cannot accept responsibility for any items left behind in the accommodation after your holiday and we would advise you to contact directly with the house-keeper. We accept no responsibility for personal injury to the tenants or for any matters that we have no control.

13) Arrival and Departure Times

Access to the property should be after 4.00pm on the day of commencement due to the cleaning of the villa. On the day of departure all tenants must leave by 10.00am.

14) Information

We have compiled the information in the brochure and website as accurately as possible at the time of going to press. However, facilities may be altered. The tenant must accept minor differences between text / photograph/ illustrations in the brochure and on the website and the actual property may arise. We cannot accept responsibility should the property not conform to the tenants standards. If a particularly facility is important to you, please check with us prior to booking.

The Booking Conditions will apply to all confirmed bookings.

The brochure, website and Conditions supersedes all previous information.
